At the heart of the Society for Creative Founders is our Community.

A place where you can learn together, build community, and be with other creatives who get it. We wanted to give you a place to have conversations about items specific to you as artists, makers, and designers, while expanding upon what we teach at the Conference and diving into specific topics each month to help you to continually grow your business knowledge.

We believe that learning and community go hand in hand, so we created a place where you can learn together, on a monthly basis.  With Groups, Resources, Challenges, and many different learning opportunities, we would love to have you join us in the Community.

Every month, we have monthly classes for our Community Members taught by Kristin and fellow Conference Alumni, on various topics shown below.  Each month will include an interactive class followed by  weeks of goal-setting inside of groups inside of our Community itself - no more setting goals without someone to guide you along as you make steps to build a better business.

This is a supportive, members-only group of women filled with ongoing connection and encouragement.

Here’s what you’ll find inside the Community:

Community Group

Our private community group is designed to fit your needs, with daily interactions and conversations designed to help you grow your business wherever you are in your journey. This group is filled with creatives just like you who want to grow their business while learning new things along the way. We have hand-selected Ambassadors to help you with your specific needs as well, many of whom are our Conference Alumni.
Resource Library

Inside of the Community, we house our Resource Library which holds all previous webinars, classes, resources, and additional items you may need to help you take realistic steps toward a more successful business and learn new things along the way.
Monthly Classes

Every month, we teach a class with specific goals in order to help you continually take your business to the next level. We rotate through our Six Pillars and design our classes around needs that arise within the Community.
Annual Retreat

Join Kristin and other Community Members for a three day Mastermind Retreat in a different location around the US every year, designed to help you reflect where you are, build community with those around you, and help you in your business specifically where you are.
Mastermind + Coaching

Apply to be part of a smaller, more intimate accountability group where you will interact with other creative founders on a deeper level, and have private monthly coaching calls with Kristin.

Current Classes for the Society for Creative Founders

Although our Membership Community is currently closed to new members, we still want you to be able to participate in a class within our Community to see what it's like, or learn something on a particular topic to meet a specific need that you have in this season of your business.  We would love for you to join us for our Community class this upcoming Wednesday, where we'll be chatting about planning and using Trello to be more productive in your business!

June 2018 Class:  Planning out Business Goals + Using Trello to Implement Them⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Join Us for the Live Class on June 20th at 10am CST!

In this class, we will review where you are now compared to the goals you may have set for yourself or your business back in January.  We'll chat about the first half of the year, followed by making a plan for the remainder of 2018.  Within this plan, we'll talk about goal setting and you'll set at least three big goals using the SMART method.

Kristin will show how she uses three different Trello boards to plan things and keep them moving forward continually in monthly, weekly, and daily format.  We'll also talk about implementing Butler for Trello and how it can help you to stay organized.

Learning Objectives:

  • Review the first half of the year and see where you are now
  • Make a plan for July - December
  • Set at least three goals using the SMART Method
  • See how to use Trello to plan in different boards to set yourself up for success
  • Learn about favorite Trello plug-ins and how to get started with Butler
  • Commit to stick to your plan for at least four weeks to allow yourself to get used to a new system, making adaptations as needed

Our Community is different.

We don’t allow promotion or selling. We expect that you may eventually want to work with someone from the group, but it will be because a natural relationship unfolded, not because you were bombarded with offers and pitches.

We understand that when you’re learning something, you want to talk about it— so each monthly class has its own collaboration and discussion section where anyone who’s working on that content can ask questions, connect, and find support.

We believe in our Community and we spend time on it. You’re not left to fend for yourself — Kristin and a curated set of Ambassadors are available and active in the groups to lend the guidance and support you need. We believe no comment or question should go unanswered.

We ground our training opportunities in a proven system we call The Six Pillars of a Successful Creative Business. These are: Your Core, Your Client, Your Brand, Your Money, Your Call, and Your Plan. We also ask you for continual feedback to ensure we are teaching the items you need to make your time in our Community well spent.

We believe in the power of an environment where you feel safe to share your struggles and your victories, all while gaining the knowledge and skills you need to move your business forward.

I hope you’ll make the choice to join an amazing community of fellow creative founders in this exciting new place where women support women in business—and in life.
