Hey, happy post Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday Week! How are you feeling today? If you are a maker, an artist, or a designer, and you had an offer or sales for this weekend, how did it go? The answer to that question may go one of two ways. It may go positively, like “oh my goodness, this was our best year yet! It was so busy, it had such a great response, and it was worth all of that hard work to put everything into place! Our phones were cha-chinging like crazy!" Which would be absolutely fantastic, and you’ll want to make sure you can replicate that or more next year.Read More

A small handful of entrepreneurs know the power of attending Conferences, Workshops, and Retreats, and go every year.
And a lot of entrepreneurs, for whatever reasons they may be, do not. We will buy online courses, classes, and attend online webinars all day long, but going to anything in-person has lot lower of a chance of it actually happening.
Why is that? The power of attending an in-person event gives you something that all of these online offerings do not, and that's something that I want talk about today. So below, I wanted to write a post sharing with you why I think that attending an in-person event is not only important, but should be a vital item you include in your business as an entrepreneur.
After reading, let us know your thoughts on if you find these same things to be true!
You constantly hear people saying Team Trello! or Team Asana! and we have to be honest, we've flipped back and forth between the two as well.
However, when it comes down to it, we settled on Trello, and it truly is a gamechanger here for us as far as our organization and productivity goes since it works well with how we like things to be laid out. Like any digital tool, we found that we wanted to make a few adjustments or changes to our preferences, similar to the way you are with most other productivity apps. I knew what I wanted to be able to achieve, and that was to not have to click nearly as much, not have open as many cards, and be able to see everything without scrolling left and right as much as I did. So, I set out to find things that would do just that.

Well today you are in luck, because we have the incredible Ashley Shelly on the blog for an Alumni Spotlight!
There’s something we absolutely love about setting goals. We love to look ahead and dream about the future, making all sorts of plans, and by speaking it into the world, we seem to think it will automatically shift our brains into gear to make them automatically magically start to form.
Well my friends, as nice as that would be to actually happen, in order for those goals to come to fruition, we have to put IN the work in the first place.
Today, we wanted to share a post filled with resources to help you to do this as a small business owner.Read More
I am one of “those women” who gets up at 4am every weekday, and those three hours that I have just for me before the rest of the house is awake are now my most treasured and my most productive worktimes of the day.
From many conversations I’ve had with many women who are entrepreneurs, especially mamas (most recently on this podcast episode with Suzi of Splendidly Curious), they tell me this is enticing to have 3+ hours a day to yourself other than naptime, but don’t know where to start. So today, this post is all about it!Read More

It’s December of 2017. And everywhere we are turning, there are two main topics. One: The Holidays. Two: 2018.
I love the potential that a new year brings, feeling like you’re starting fresh every year. However, while we are planning for 2018 and what we want the year to encompass, I also think it’s important to take into consideration everything that happened this year, ask ourselves some questions, and build upon them as well. So today, I wanted to give you a few questions to go through to reflect upon for the year, to ask yourself before setting your goals for 2018.Read More
