2018 CONFERENCE ATTENDEES
Home today from New York and feeling a liiiittle bit tired but more than anything else, really inspired. I may have only walked the aisles at the #nationalstationeryshow, but goodness did I learn a lot! Those exhibiting, WOW. Every single one of you has such a distinctive point of view and I hope each and every one of you considers this week a success!! {peek at our Highlight from our IG Stories above for a few snaps from the weekend!} To the suppliers who were also there, I LOVED finally getting to meet you in person (especially @printswellfulfillment, @announcementconverters, and @czarpress!!) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Outside of the Javits Center, this city is something else. I had never been to New York (or, honestly, even Ubered before this trip for that matter!!) and there was SO much to take in. One of the days we walked over 10 miles all around the city and this spot was one of my favorites, looking out at the city from a bridge in Central Park. It was one of the best choices to simply walk and see what we discovered without a set plan, seeing what brought inspiration and what we stopped in to see. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Do you find that when you travel or see work from other creatives, that you find yourself inspired as well?? Heading home from seeing this beautiful fuchsia carpet and walking the aisles upon aisles of incredible stationery and gift items at the #nationalstationeryshow. So many of these designers and artists have SUCH a distinctive voice and design aesthetic and it was incredible to see them pour their hearts into all of their work. This was my first time in New York and it did not disappoint. Tomorrow is back to "the real world", but for today, my head is filled with all sorts of amazing creatives that I finally had the pleasure to meet and memories made that were great. GDPR. This is a phrase that a lot of us have been hearing the last few days about everything we need to be done for our businesses, and one a lot of people are suddenly talking about. When we did an Instagram story asking if you needed help, we heard a resounding YES.
