The 2017 Creative Founders Conference, Day 3 Recap!
A look back at our 2017 Creative Founders Conference...
In early March of 2017, 20 women walked through the doors of the Lee House for our 2017 Creative Founders Conference. They were excited, nervous, and walked in knowing that so many things for their business were about to change. The next four days that transpired were some of the most memorable for the year, and it has been incredible to see them grow in so many different ways.

Day Three was perfect. It was a bit less intense than Day 2, with more breaks purposely built into the day. After all, three days straight of working hard on your business take time to process when you're making changes to make your business better.
We started our first morning session with Olivia Omega, who started with Your Call. She taught our attendees all about setting up their Marketing Plans, breaking them down into Goals & Objectives, Researching, Strategy, Tactics, Implementing, and Evaluating. She also taught us about the different benefits we have within our businesses, both the functional and emotional benefits to help our business be built around servicing our customers in the best way possible. She also included "hot seat" sessions, where one attendee sat in the front and spoke about where she thought she should go within her business, while the attendees offered up advice and thoughts on what they saw happening for them. This was one of the most transformational moments for the women, both those who sat in that hot seat moment and learned from what others suggested.
Directly after Olivia's main session, we split into two groups for our breakout sessions, with Olivia teaching an additional breakout on marketing, and Janet teaching a breakout on how to keep track of inventory. Overall, both sessions were fantastic!
We then had lunch and set some time into the day for a Creative Break. Some people went and walked around downtown Pensacola, others practiced their photo styling skills, we took some product pictures for our sponsors and previous alumni, each attendee took complimentary headshots thanks to Aislinn, and some women created art or practiced their handlettering with the items sponsored by Paper & Ink Arts - including watercolors, brush markers, and sketchpads to get the creative juices flowing.
Following the afternoon breakout, we closed the day's sessions with Jennifer leading the Your Plan Module. We first started with a review of where people were in the last year, and then continued into the vision of where they wanted their business to go, setting goals for the upcoming year, and working together to create a path to success.
We ended our last night with the Graduation Dinner, where Kristin worked with the caterers, florist, and the fellow speakers to transform the room. This night is the one she looks forward to the most, as she gets to go all out with her past event planning experience. This year, we brought in dozens of candles, a beautiful eucalyptus garland, even more florals, switched out the linens, and set out everyone's gift bags, which just so happened to be the gifts received by their fellow attendees for the year. This evening is the one that closes out the conference, and is always a pretty emotional one.
Wednesday morning, everyone started to head home. Some people stayed for individual one-on-one sessions with the speakers, but slowly but surely, everyone said their goodbyes, hugs and tears were shed, and off everyone went back home, rejuvenated and excited for what was to come.
We have said this so many times throughout these posts, but this conference is incredible. The way that it is designed is put together in such a way that it will transform you and your business. It is not a conference with fluff, but rather one that is designed to help you to build a life you love with a business you feel represents what it is meant to be perfectly.
